Commander Bio

Émile Guepratte (1856–1939) was an admiral of the French Navy and a commanding officer during World War I, playing a pivotal role in Allied Mediterranean naval operations. Known for his leadership during the Gallipoli campaign and subsequent Dardanelles operations, he commanded the French naval forces in the Eastern Mediterranean with tactical skill. He served with distinction throughout the Great War, significantly contributing to French naval strategy and establishing himself as one of France's most respected naval commanders.
